Hi! I'm Daniel and I am a caretaker at the Kitten Rescue Sanctuary. Yeah, scooping boxes, mopping floors, and feeding cats might not seem like the most glamorous work, but seeing cats come here to be rehabilitated or finally get the medical attention they need, and knowing that I'm part of a team that gives them a safe place to call "home," is really rewarding.
I decided to run the marathon for all the senior and special needs kitties at the sanctuary, and the cat representing them all is Champ, one of the coolest cats at the sanctuary! Champ, who is turning 19 years old on March 31st and is diabetic, came to live at the sanctuary many years ago when his adopter passed away. Like many of the cats at the sanctuary, Champ needs a little extra medical attention, but Kitten Rescue is here for him and all of his buddies who also have special needs.
Kitten Rescue does so much to help kitties like Champ. For example, they just saved a 15-year-old kitty from the city shelter who has hyperthyroidism and kidney issues, and a 10-year-old kitty that has arthritis and OMG, a B.B. pellet lodged in her stomach!
I don't have the biggest of networks on social media, but I am hoping that I can reach 19 people who will donate $19 (one for each of Champ's years!) to help Kitten Rescue save more amazing cats. If I can reach more people and raise more funds to help our animals, even better!

$250 pays for x-rays
All of these things make a huge difference in helping us to keep our senior and special needs cats healthy and safe.
