I WILL RUN SO THEY CAN LIVE
Every year, thousands of cats and kittens are born outdoors in Los Angeles and must fend for themselves under dangerous, harsh conditions. Most do not make it. The LA kitten season is very long with kittens being born virtually year round. I am run/walking the Charity Half marathon this year because I know that every dollar contributed empowers Kitten Rescue to save more cats, give them the medical care they need and then get them loving forever homes. The work Kitten Rescue does means so much to me.
Kitten Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of homeless cats and kittens. While around 1800 of their animals reside in volunteer foster homes, the Kitten Rescue Sanctuary and Kitten Nursery in Atwater Village is home to up to 150 cats and kittens, many of which have special needs.
When you donate to my fundraiser you are helping to save the lives of cats and kittens who would otherwise not have a chance. Kitten Rescue relies on donations from the public to save the animals. The more money that I raise, the more lives they can save!
