Hello everyone! This year I made a late decision to run the LA Marathon for Kitten Rescue. Though there wasn't time for me to enroll in a marathon training program, I was determined to run the marathon nonetheless. I had a very special reason to run this year, to honor the memories of Judi Mesibov and John Papsys. I want to help carry on their legacy of caring for the homeless cats of Los Angeles, and I think they would have liked knowing that they inspired me to do that!
On Sunday, November 7th, 2021 I ran the 26.2 mile marathon, the first half in honor of Judi and the second half for John. I am so happy that I completed my first marathon! Throughout the run, I thought about Judi and John, and also all the wonderful friends, co-workers, explore cam supporters and the whole Kitten Rescue community. I am so grateful to be part of it.
Please help me by supporting my marathon fundraiser! I won't stop now, I am going to do the 2022 Marathon for Kitten Rescue as well. You can donate to this fundraiser for another month to help me reach my fundraising goal of $2,500.
