OUR SANCTUARY NEEDS A MAKEOVER!

After years of wear and tear, our Sanctuary is falling apart and is in great need of renovations. The renovations are estimated to cost $100,000, which includes moving the AC to a more central location for better circulation, replacing the ducting, adding a new drop ceiling, new sealed floors, a new roof, new cabinets, new outdoor enclosures, and a new medical isolation enclosures that will double the number of medical cases that we can take in. A generous sponsor has kicked off the fundraiser by donating $24,370 to renovate the medical isolation ward, but we need to raise more to cover the full cost of all the necessary renovations.

OUR ROOF HAS DRY ROT! We discovered this as we begun demolition! The wood needs to be replaced and a new roof will be built out to cover the outdoor enclosures and work area. The replacement wood and additional roof to cover the outdoor area will increase our original estimate by 20%!

The Kitten Rescue Sanctuary is a private, no-kill cat sanctuary located in the Atwater Village area of Los Angeles, California that is home to up to 150 cats, many of which have special needs.
