I will run, so they can live...
On November 6th I will run/walk The LA Big 5k to raise money for Kitten Rescue to save homeless animals.
I am raising money to provide medical care for cats and kittens in need; Kittens like Dasher (in the picture above), who was diagnosed with FIP at around 5 months old. Dasher was on death's door, when Kitten Rescue provided an expensive treatment that saved his life. Learn more about FIP and this amazing, breakthrough treatment in this video.
Kitten Rescue
is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation
and placement of homeless animals. Kitten Rescue focuses on rescuing the most vulnerable population of the homeless cat population: orphaned kittens, undersocialized cats and cats with special medical needs. While most of Kitten Rescue's animals
reside in volunteer foster homes, the Kitten Rescue Sanctuary in Atwater Village is home to up to 150 special needs cats.
Saving cats and kittens and providing medical care for them is expensive! Kitten Rescue relies on donations from the public to save the animals and pay for their veterinary care. So, the more money we raise, the more lives we can save!
