#GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Like most non-profits, each year we have participated by asking people to donate to our cause.

Three years ago we asked ourselves how we could celebrate this global day of giving not only by asking, but also by giving. So, for the past two #GivingTuesdays we have cleared one city shelter of all available cats.

Last year we celebrated #GivingTuesday by clearing North Central Animal Shelter of all available cats and kittens. Thanks to our amazing staff, foster parents, volunteers and donors, we were able to kick off the season of giving by rescuing 42 cats and kittens in one day.

This year we will be clearing West Valley Animal Shelter of all available cats! It will be challenging, but we are committed to rescuing cats and kittens of all ages. Whether they are sick, injured or scared, we want to save them all.

Please help us save shelter cats and place into forever homes this holiday season and throughout the year by making a tax-deductible gift on this global day of giving.
